That's the Shock Top slogan, and it's easy to see why. This Belgian white ale is a cloudy yellow-orange because it's not filtered before bottling. The brew is made by the Shock Top Brewing Company in Memphis, Tennessee, but further research shows that Shock Top is a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. Let's judge the beer by its flavor instead of its affiliations though.

The first smell of Shock Top reveals a light citrus flavor, which corresponds to the taste rather well. Shock Top is a fairly sweet beer with flavors of honey and a bit of citrus. There's not much bitterness in this beer; it's crisp and refreshing though. The North American Beer Awards agreed, awarding Shock Top a gold medal in 2006 and a bronze medal in 2007 in the Belgian White category.

As of this writing, Shock Top can be found at the Belle Vue Lounge in Disney's Boardwalk, a great place to relax, sit in a plush chair, and play board games while you drink!
