Bud Light

When life gives you poor beer choices, make lemonade? There's some sort of catchphrase to be made from the experience I had last Friday. We'll get to that story in a few moments.

To many in college, buying a keg of Bud Light for a party is "splurging", as in they're not buying Natty Light or the Beast. Because of experiences with American lagers such as these, I wasn't a fan of beer. I just didn't drink it. Jack and Coke, among others, were my alcoholic beverages of choice. I attribute my conversion to beer mostly to Abita whose locally brewed beer changed my opinion.

Fast forward to last Friday night. I was presented with a choice I hadn't had to make for many years. I asked the server what beers were available; she responded "Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Michelob Ultra."

After the initial shock wore off, I made lemonade. I decided that since these were beers I would never purchase on my own, over the course of the night I would try what I could, review them and take photos.

The following are the notes I took at the party unedited. When I opened this up to write the actual review, I found a (probably intoxicated) Katie added her own comment. I decided I'll just leave it in.
Still sucks. (bahahahhahahah <3 katie)

Lots of off-putting flavors in the beer. Unfortunately I didn't have a glass, but I don't think it would have helped much.

This is one of my least favorite beers.
I drank two other beers on Friday; those are coming soon!
