The Walt Disney World Beer Tournament – Fourth Round

Welcome to round four of the Walt Disney World Beer Tournament! We're down to the Elite Eight, the regional finals, where we will crown a winner for each region. The Elite Eight round of the tournament starts now and voting will close on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 3:00 pm CDT! Let's start with the updated full tournament bracket.



Let's see who's left in the Mickey bracket!



Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale brings down Guinness to advance to the Mickey region semifinals, earning 62% of the vote. Bell's Two-Hearted Ale earned the right to face Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale by upsetting Abita Purple Haze with 64% of votes placed.

Who remains in the Minnie region?



Unibroue Éphémère battled the number one seed Safari Amber and won with just 52% of votes. Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale's win was equally close; it beat Unibroue Blanche de Chambly by the same margin.

Here's the Donald region's semifinalists!



Sierra Nevada Pale Ale received 64% of the vote against Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA, moving on to the Donald regional finals. On the other side of the bracket, Kona Longboard Lager and Boddingtons English Pub Ale fought to a tie. The coin toss tiebreaker moved Kona Longboard Lager to the regional final.

Who's left in the Goofy region?



The final in the Goofy region is an all Unibroue affair! In the first match, Trois Pistoles took down the final number one seed Yuengling with 65% of the vote. To determine the opponent, La Fin du Monde took care of Murphy's Red Creamy Irish Ale with 67% of the vote. Goofy's winner is guaranteed to be a Unibroue beer!
