The Best Glass Ever

December 20th, 2010 by in Beer Culture

As noted in my Wells Bombardier post, the Flying Saucer in Houston has a glass night every Wednesday.  Usually the glass is for a specific brewery; for example, around this time last year one Wednesday the Saucer had a Spaten holiday pilsner.  Most are glasses printed with a brewery’s logo.  This one, however, stole the show and earned the title of the greatest glass ever:

This magnificent grail was filled with Monty Python’s Holy Grail, which honestly isn’t that great of a beer.  The grail, however, was worth it; each is hand-painted so no two are exactly alike.  Honestly, I haven’t used it since the night I got it, but I think it’s an interesting enough piece of craft beer culture to be featured here.

Do you have any glassware you absolutely love?
