Delirium Nocturnum

May 2nd, 2011 by in Other Beer Reviews

From the Huyghe Brewery in Belgium comes the other beer with the little pink elephants. Delirium Nocturnum is the sister beer to Delirium Tremens and is a nice dark ale. The deep brown has a reddish tinge to it, and the tan head lingers for a while. It has a roasted flavor along with some fruity tones and is rather dry; the dryness feels more like a wine than a beer. The 8.5% ABV lets you know the alcohol is in there, but isn’t overwhelming. Nocturnum is pretty easy to drink and very enjoyable!
