Rogue XS McRogue Scotch Ale

I didn’t have any Red Stripe or other Caribbean beer handy for the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Tweetwatch with Ryan’s Disney Film Project. A beer from Rogue seems fitting, however, since Jack Sparrow is quite a rogue. This scotch ale has a chocolate scent; the chocolate theme continues in the taste, being sweet up front and bitter in the finish along with a smoky taste. Can feel the alcohol throughout; the carbonation is very light. Enjoyable but a bit expensive for what it is considering this small bottle was over $4.00.
