The Walt Disney World Beer Tournament – Fifth Round (Final Four)

After two weeks of voting, we are down to the Walt Disney World Beer Tournament Final Four! 64 beers entered the tournament and 60 have been retired. These regional champions are now set to face each other for the chance to be the Walt Disney World Beer Champion. Voting for the fifth round will end Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 5:00 PM CDT; be sure to vote before then! Here’s the full bracket (click to enlarge)!

Let’s take a look at the Mickey and Minnie regional champions first!

Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale put up a good fight but just couldn’t overcome Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale; Arrogant Bastard received 63% of your votes to become the Mickey region champion. Unibroue Éphémère was crowned the Minne regional champion by narrowly beating Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale with only 53% of the votes cast! Choose who moves onto the WDW Beer Tournament finals!

Now let’s examine the other side of the bracket and find out who the champions of the Donald and Goofy regions are!

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale became the Donald regional champion by easily defeating Kona Longboard Lager with 77% of your votes. In the all-Unibroue Goofy region final, La Fin du Monde was crowned champion by earning 66% of the vote. These two will battle it out for the other spot in the Walt Disney World Beer Tournament final! Who will you choose to advance?
