Bohemia

April 16th, 2012 by in Walt Disney World Beer Reviews

From the Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery in Mexico, the brewer responsible for Sol, Dos Equis, Tecate and others, comes Bohemia. Bohemia is a pilsner that gets its name from the region that is now part of the Czech Republic. This region is well known for its brewing and is the birthplace of the pilsner.

Bohemia is a clear golden lager with a small, quickly dissipating head. Light grain in the nose. The taste is fairly light as well; grain notes with a mild but noticeable hop bitterness and a little spice. It’s highly carbonated but light bodied and finishes clean.

As far as Walt Disney World is concerned, Bohemia is found in the Mexico pavilion. The Mexico pavilion isn’t loaded with fine beers though, but Bohemia is pretty good. I’d choose it over the others I’ve tried that the Mexico pavilion offers anytime.
