Karbach Brewing Co. Yule Shoot Your Eye Out

IMG_5121

Now that it’s after Thanksgiving, it’s really the Christmas season! Our tree is already up. But that’s not the only reason for this post; on with the beer! Named after one of the famous lines in the movie A Christmas Story, Yule Shoot Your Eye Out is Karbach Brewing Co.’s Christmas brew. A Christmas Story, however, is not really one of my favorite Christmas movies. This is more my cup of shugga’: Here’s “R’s” Christmas letter to Santa printed on the side  [ Read More ]

The menus are out and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Beer List is updated (along with a brand new app). Let’s chat about what’s on the list. Noble Pils can be found around the Walt Disney World resort  [ Read More ]

Samuel Adams Winter Lager

samadams

Trying to stay away from the typical Bud and/or Miller in the American Adventure Pavilion, we went with the trusty Samuel Adams Seasonal, which was their Winter Lager. I’m a fan of beers that have a slight spice to them and enjoyed this one. Might actually like it better than their Oktoberfest! Paired it with some awesome funnel cake and it was perfect.

Sam Adams Winter Lager

Pairing my Sam Adams Winter Lager with my frosty Vikings mug as I prepare to watch Monday Night Football. Go Falcons! I’m a Vikes fan, but an Atlanta local, so I’m rooting for the home team.
