Samuel Adams Winter Lager

Trying to stay away from the typical Bud and/or Miller in the American Adventure Pavilion, we went with the trusty Samuel Adams Seasonal, which was their Winter Lager.
I’m a fan of beers that have a slight spice to them and enjoyed this one. Might actually like it better than their Oktoberfest! Paired it with some awesome funnel cake and it was perfect.

I don’t believe I have ever had a Winter Lager. Iy sure isn’t very appealing looking in a “Plastic Cup”. The good beer that Sam Adams brew does not deserve to be served in anything but, a nice clean beer glass. The Sam Adams Boston Lager Glasses are ideal.

Just tried my first SA Winter Ale Lager for the first time. It very well may be my favorite now. Took over from the Kettle Brewery in Missoula.
