“33” Export

May 30th, 2012 by in Other Beer Reviews

I was recently out to dinner at a local Vietnamese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a decent selection of beers on the menu. “33” Export immediately caught my eye. It’s a Vietnamese lager that has a nice bright gold color. I enjoyed the beer with a nice bowl of Pho, it was light enough to compliment the saltiness of the soup. It really wasn’t anything special though, it reminded me of Amstel Light. It’s not a beer I’d recommend to drink on it’s own, it’s best enjoyed with a meal. If you see it on the menu, I’d definitely suggest giving it a try.
