What's New
Boulevard Brewing Love Child #4
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks around here. My sister got married in New Orleans over the weekend (remember she got engaged at Port Orleans last year?) and getting everything ready has been rather time consuming. I’m back from NOLA now and I just picked up Boulevard Brewing’s Love Child #4 from the nearby store…. → Read More
Stone Stochasticity Project Quadrotriticale
Remember the semi-mysterious Stocasticity Project? I know we’ve talked about it somewhere before, but I can’t seem to find it. It doesn’t seem to have been an article; perhaps it was a Twitter conversation instead… Ah, here’s an Instagram of the first beer to come from it; Grapefruit Slam IPA. Long story short, the Grapefruit… → Read More
“Tap Into Freedom” featuring Cigar City at The Dolphin’s Cabana Bar
Starting tomorrow, Cabana Bar and Beach Club at the Dolphin will be featuring plenty of Cigar City beer! @beersandears The hotel's Cabana Bar & Beach Club is partnering with Tampa's Cigar City Brewing to offer locally-crafted beer from July 2-8 — Swan and Dolphin (@swandolphin) June 27, 2014 From what we’re told, they’ll be featuring… → Read More
Victory HopDevil IPA
Yesterday Google had their I/O conference keynote and at the end (in addition to smartwatches) they handed out a kit called Cardboard. It’s a cardboard kit designed to turn your Android phone into a virtual reality headset. But I’m looking at this thing and all I can think is they made Tool’s 10,000 Days album into… → Read More
Mailbag Monday – The Decision-Makers Edition
Today’s Mailbag Monday answers only one question, but it’s a big one. It comes from Kristopher on Facebook: This is a great question, and it’s one we don’t have all the answers to. We’ll try to shed some light where we can though. First, let’s narrow down exactly which locations Disney operates. This is important… → Read More
Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. More Cowbell Double IPA
I think most of you know the famous Saturday Night Live “More Cowbell” sketch, but if not (or if you just want to watch it) here’s the skit. “I have a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!” Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. in Houston crafted More Cowbell, an Imperial IPA available both on draft… → Read More
Mailbag Monday – Replacements and Changes Edition
Mailbag Monday four weeks in a row! This is some sort of record for us actually having a regular series. @ThemeParkBeer comes through again with a menu from Frostbite Eddy’s at Blizzard Beach! Thanks so much; we’ll be adding it to the list soon. Here's the beer list for Frostbite Eddy ' s at Blizzard Beach…. → Read More
Kiuchi Brewery Hitachino Nest White Ale
Sapporo. Kirin Ichiban. Asahi. All Japanese. All thin, yellow, fizzy lagers. The land of the rising sun has a stereotype of poor beer. Kiuchi Brewery doesn’t believe it needs to be that way. Their line of Hitachino Nest ales are brewed using European technology and Japanese brewing methods and ingredients. The Hitachino Nest White Ale is… → Read More
Mailbag Monday – Mostly World Showcase Edition
Mailbag Monday is going strong! Special thanks to @ThemeParkBeer for letting us know we didn’t have KRNR (the booth outside Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster) on our list! The KRNR place has booze. @beersandears @DrunkAtdisney pic.twitter.com/DtEECLYCP0 — ThemeParkBeerDrinker (@ThemeParkBeer) June 1, 2014 As always, let us know if something is missing or wrong in our beer lists!… → Read More

What's Hot
Ommegang Three Philosophers
Someone recently asked us whether Ommegang Three Philosophers is available at Walt Disney World, so when I saw it at the store recently I decided to pick a bottle up! Three Philosophers is available at WDW, but only at Il Mulino in the Swan. Ommegang Brewery is based in Cooperstown, NY, better known for the… → Read More
St. George Beer
Last drink at Dawa Bar (don’t worry, we spaced these over 2 days) was St. George Beer. The brewery is located in Ethiopia, NOT to be confused with the brewery of the same name in Virginia. There is no official website though so I couldn’t pull up any additional information to wow you guys with…. → Read More
Widmer Brothers Drifter Pale Ale
Earlier today I picked up a couple of new beers; the first one I’m trying is Widmer Brothers Drifter. Although it’s classified as a pale ale, it’s fairly dark but extremely clear. Drifter has a very strong grapefruit scent and the citrus theme continues once sipped. It’s not too sweet and has a nice bitter… → Read More
Firestone Walker Double Jack
Firestone Walker is another brewery whose beers are new to Texas this year; not long after their debut, I picked up a bottle of Double Jack, a double IPA. At this time, Walt Disney World doesn’t serve any Firestone Walker beers, but Disneyland serves Double Barrel Ale (DBA) at the Sonoma Terrace and Carthay Circle…. → Read More
Samuel Adams Brewmasters Collection: Blackberry Witbier
Tonight’s beer is part of Samuel Adams’ Brewmasters Collection. Blackberry Witbier is an underwhelming brew in my opinion. It reminds me of Abita’s Purple Haze but with less flavor. Yes, Purple Haze is made with raspberries and this is made with blackberries, but the beers are very similar. Still, I’d grab a Purple Haze long… → Read More
Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat
Tonight’s beer is a Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat. I picked up a six pack of these a while back on Ed’s recommendation but it’s been a while since I cracked one. It fills up my pilsner glass rather well with a nice tall head. Coastal Wheat is a decent wheat ale with lemon, but its… → Read More
Abita 25th Anniversary Vanilla Doubledog
It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Abita. One reason is that like Abita, I was born and raised in Louisiana. I didn’t like beer before I started drinking Abita Amber, and over the years since the Abita brewery has given me plenty of different beers to try, including Purple Haze, Jockamo IPA, and… → Read More

The Beers and Ears Walt Disney World Beer List iPhone App!
In a secret lab at an undisclosed location (not really, but it sounds cool), we’ve been hard at work. Now we’re ready to reveal a secret that’s been kept better than the iPhone 4 (despite our love for beer, this secret wasn’t left in a bar) . We’ve created an iPhone app that puts our… → Read More
